Abstract

Тhe study of the pragmalinguistic properties of compliment, a fatal form of verbal
communication that serves a number of functions in the communication process, harmonizing and
softening human relations, the creation of a theory of linguistic compliment is a problem awaiting
solution in linguistic development. The article discusses the features of compliment compliment, its types,
and a number of socio-linguistic functions, which are the unity of speech etiquette and the appearance of
fatal communication
