THE GENESIS OF THE IMAGE OF MAGICAL OBJECTS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK FAIRY TALES

Abstract

Magical objects make fairy tales expressive and interesting. Each of these magical objects have their genesis, roots. Most of them go back to such beliefs as animism, fetishism, totemism and shamanism. The article discusses the genesis, historical roots of the magical items used in English and Uzbek fairy tales and reveals that they are closely connected with ancient beliefs, dreams and aspirations of the people who created fairy tales.
