Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the vocabulary of the Renaissance period in terms
of structural and functional-syntactic features of terminology. It also analyzes valuable sources of
two outstanding personalities – Thomas More and Francis Bacon about human being and ethic. The
article deals with issues of formation and development of the terms of ethics in the XVI-XVIII
centuries English language which is considered to be very actual for the investigation and different
points of specialists on this field. The views expressed in this article serve as a scientific source for
the investigation of different aspects of the terms of ethics of the Renaissance period.
