ASPECTS OF THE APPEARANCE OF PROVERBS AND THEIR LANGUAGE

Abstract

By carefully observing the differences and successive changes in the language of proverbs, one can determine all stages of the mentality of peoples in different periods. Each era has its own dominant ideas, which are translated into the folk language and become unique proverbs. By changing qualities or vices, society also changes proverbs, and this aspect may explain why proverbs sometimes describe positive qualities and sometimes negative ones. From this point of view, this article tells about the emergence of proverbs and their language, which represent the first experiences of mankind and became the basis of its education.
