By Claisen condensation, we obtained β-diketone -
ferrocenoylacetone. Hydrazones of monocarboxylic acids (H2L) were synthesized by the interaction of carboxylic acid hydrazides with ferrocenoylacetone. On them
on the basis of received complexes with transition metals. The synthesized compounds were studied by spectroscopic methods. Research results
showed that H2L in solution exists as a tautomeric mixture: hydrazone, enhydrazine, and cyclic 5-hydroxypyrazoline forms. According to the results of spectroscopic studies, the complexes are assigned a square-planar structure, where the doubly deprotonated ligand residue is tridentately coordinated by the metal atom through two oxygen atoms and a nitrogen atom of the hydrazone fragment. Fourth in the flat square trans-N2O2-
the coordination site is occupied by an ammonia molecule.
