Functions of Intertextuality in Discourse Analysis.

Abstract
Intertextuality, along with its kin term, interdiscursivity, has been one of the most
widely circulating theoretical concepts of the late 20th century. In a broad sense, intertextuality
represents scholarly interest in the grounding of words and texts in other words and texts. In this
article we tried to clarify functions of intertextuality in observing discourse.
